We want to know about the parent involvement issues you have faced. Please tell us about your school and community. 1. Please tell us about your school and the community it serves.
2. Describe your student body.
3. What is the level of parent involvement at your school?
4. Do you feel that this level of involvement is: Too Little Just Right Too Much Other
5. What challenges do you, your teachers and the larger school community confront in trying to increase parent involvement?
6. What challenges do your school's parents confront in trying to be more involved with their children's learning?
7. Please describe any actions or programs that are in place to address the challenges you mentioned in questions 5 and 6.
8. What materials or resources have been purchased by the school to address the challenges?
9. Do your teachers ever include advice to parents on how to help their children with specific homework assignments? If so, is this done through a school-wide mandate, or individual initiative?
10. Do you believe that a parent resource, such as the parent magazine being developed by Parent Academic Resources Inc., could be useful to and utilized by your students' parents?
